Four further appearances were alongside the Charters and Caldicott actors Basil Radford and Naunton Wayne. In Night Train To Munich 1940 he played the role as a deck chair attendant (3rd photo), In Millions Like Us 1943 his role was as the soldier Alf polishing the floor (2nd photo) and in 1948’s Quartet where he appeared as a Sergeant in the Kite flying scene on the common. His final appearance with the duo was in 1949's Passport To Pimlico as the customs official (1st photo) – he is only briefly seen in the film and that was a side shot of him as he talks to Margaret Rutherford.
